With Spring around the corner we usually change things around in our homes, we open windows, we change the pillows, the clothes, the blankets... our house gets a little renovation (eventually even a deep Spring cleaning week!).

So did our little bear in the woods 🐻 I found it to be a little bit darker than I would like it to be, so I edited a bit! It feels lighter just as the days now!

I became more and more fan of having wall art in the kitchen as well. I think it brings a more lived in mood, and I’m all for cozy, lived in rooms, yet organized... and with some color too!

So appropriate for today 🌧 there is a new rain art print on the shop and I’m in love with these tones!

As a mother of a little girl and a lover of mustard yellow, I often use it on my illustrations and mix it with grey, blue, earthy tones... but even if I tend to create gender neutral pieces, I often think my portfolio lacks something even more gender neutral and/or with darker tones. This color palette was a challenge 💪🏻

I’ll always be touched by the way a woman’s body transforms itself in order to create life. I learned so much about our body and what it endures during pregnancy when I was pregnant with Alice... that I was in constant awe (and not so in awe with the discomfort on those last weeks 😅)

Motherhood opened my eyes to a new kind of love, self-knowledge and the fact that I’m actually so much stronger than I thought I was 💪🏻
