These illustrations are inspired by my own kids, their books, and the chaos in between. We have so many illustration books and I seriously need to control myself from buying more, because… space… though this could be debatable. I feel drawn to some books just by their covers and illustrations, less about the content, I’m afraid. But I’m thrilled when the content matches the illustrations. Anyway, when I draw I try to recreate some bits of stories that pop into my head, though I also have more regular nursery wall art. But I find that clients are also drawn to these, so we’re a match!

Not work, not home—just joy, the forest and “some” cows. Throwback to our trip to the Azores when Laura was tiny and Alice was still apparently just a baby, but to my eyes she was so grown up.   We’re thinking about summer vacations and would LOVE to hear from you? What has been your favourite destination with your young kids?

One of my favorite pleasures is definitely one of the simplest ones. It may sound like a cliche and you may think “ah you don’t do that!”, but when spring starts and the wild flowers start popping everywhere… oh the pure joy! And it’s so interesting to see what flowers grow in different places!

It’s a new month—your walls are ready for something fresh and so this set of daisies might be the perfect choice.

I’m not sure how’s the weather where you live, but around here it’s like we’re stuck on a permanent wet and grey winter (hello?! We’re in Spain, not the Netherlands!). Flowers are growing and they do provide a bit of color, but the weather has been a tad depressing and I say this as a lover of rainy weather. Enough is enough and we demand Spring to actually kick in, ok? Thanks!

Feliz Día de la Madre 👌🏻 we went out to lun

Feliz Día de la Madre 👌🏻 we went out to lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time despite the crappy weather. I always love to wander around Barrio de las Letras and Calle de las Huertas is particularly pretty. Also there are so many cute shops and restaurants for tapas… it has been my go to neighbourhood in the last few times I went for a walk.
