It’s a new month—your walls are ready for something fresh and so this set of daisies might be the perfect choice.

I’m not sure how’s the weather where you live, but around here it’s like we’re stuck on a permanent wet and grey winter (hello?! We’re in Spain, not the Netherlands!). Flowers are growing and they do provide a bit of color, but the weather has been a tad depressing and I say this as a lover of rainy weather. Enough is enough and we demand Spring to actually kick in, ok? Thanks!

Feliz Día de la Madre 👌🏻 we went out to lun

Feliz Día de la Madre 👌🏻 we went out to lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time despite the crappy weather. I always love to wander around Barrio de las Letras and Calle de las Huertas is particularly pretty. Also there are so many cute shops and restaurants for tapas… it has been my go to neighbourhood in the last few times I went for a walk.

Pictures from the last few weeks. I’m having a bit of a creative block when it comes to photography… I pick up the camera only for work and never just for the pleasure of it. On the other hand I’ve been working on my illustration quite fiercely since the past few months.

I’m at peace with it and the ebbs and flows of life and my creative journey.

So… what have I been doing lately?

Going on walks, eating out, craving sweets, we went to the mountains near Madrid to look for snow, but didn’t find any (despite seeing the top of mountain completely covered in it), and the thrill of finding a new printing partner that is top notch!

I’ve also been feeling drained with social media. It’s such an ongoing problem with almost everyone, isn’t it? I’ve been feeling that no matter what I say or share, it’s just more noise. So I tend to stay quiet and create instead. But on the other hand I’ve been creating so many new things that I want to share, but when the time comes… it’s like I feel defeated before even starting.

I have a new supplier for prints in Portugal and I couldn’t be happier! I found them by mere accident and I was so thrilled when I got my prints and they were so beautiful and the colors were spot on! 👌🏻

Illustrations prints by Menina Lisboa are now printed in Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, because YOU deserve the very best!

Can’t wait to hang these around the house!

Always my favorite room of them all 💛 it feels so good to feel some sort of permanency. We had so many changes in the last two years and now it feels so peaceful, so good to finally be able, without any change in the horizon (that we can anticipate at least!), to plan and create the home of our dreams!
