I have a new supplier for prints in Portugal and I

I have a new supplier for prints in Portugal and I couldn’t be happier! I found them by mere accident and I was so thrilled when I got my prints and they were so beautiful and the colors were spot on! 👌🏻

Illustrations prints by Menina Lisboa are now printed in Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, because YOU deserve the very best!

Can’t wait to hang these around the house!

Always my favorite room of them all 💛 it feels

Always my favorite room of them all 💛 it feels so good to feel some sort of permanency. We had so many changes in the last two years and now it feels so peaceful, so good to finally be able, without any change in the horizon (that we can anticipate at least!), to plan and create the home of our dreams!

Coffee or Tea? I have been a person who goes back

Coffee or Tea?

I have been a person who goes back and forth with this. But as I’m already 44, I’m getting to that point of self knowledge you know? And I’m accepting the ebbs and flows of my life and preferences.

There was a time in which I gave up on coffee. It was making me feel tired, and I don’t know… I was just not that into it. I switched to tea and suddenly the pleasure was completely different. Then I got pregnant and teas are a bit frowned upon, because there are not enough studies about the side effects. So I started drinking a tiny bit of coffee again. Fast forward to coming to Madrid and I’m an avid coffee and tea drinker… BUT my coffee now ALWAYS has milk in it, every single time.

So it’s either “un café con leche por favor!” or after lunch at restaurants “Para mi, un cortado!”

And this is the story behind this illustration ☕️ 🇪🇸

I’m having so much fun creating new products for

I’m having so much fun creating new products for my @zazzle store! It has a certain learning curve, I will admit that and sometimes it gets a bit frustrating, but I’m quite stubborn (or persistent??).

I loved how the patterns look together, so fresh and colorful… maybe I love them more because we’re in our second week of rain here in Spain and it’s affecting my mood for sure!

But I think I’ll order one just to check the colors, as the paper is top notch! I ordered some Thank You Cards last year for my photography business and they looked so beautiful!

January, February and March so far… it’s been

January, February and March so far… it’s been quite full of things happening and it’s still the first trimester!

We bought a house in a close neighbourhood and moved in February, I went on long walks in the sun with Kobe, took a lot of pictures of him, because the idea that he won’t be here for that many years from now haunts me, I drew a lot and fulfilled some of the projects I had for this trimester, we received friends for a couple of days after we moved and we made sure they had the most comfortable room ever and went on a Safari with them… and last, but not least, I said goodbye to a very special person in my life this week.

It was an amazing woman who welcomed me into her family (the whole family did actually) and took care of me since I was 3 months old until I was almost 6. She was my second mother. I hope I’ll never forget her voice calling my name whenever I showed up or called her 🧡

Where are the AMELIAS? I often create custom name illustrations, which means I need to come up with names for the sake of said illustration. Amelia, Charlotte, Emma and Olivia are usually my go-to names🙌🏻 aren’t they so sweet?
